SA 8000 Social accountability management systems auditor

The course aims to provide basic knowledge and training for the preparation and direction of social accountability Management Systems compliant with SA 8000, having learned about law  requirements and applicable audit techniques. The course is aimed to all those who, as free lance professionals or within Organizations or OdC, want to carry out audit activities in social accountability management systems.
The course provides knowledge for:

  • First party audits
  • Second party audits
  • Third party audits

An important part of the course is dedicated to group work, study case analysis and role-playing.
The final exam consists of various tests and it results in an accredited  certificate  for those who pass it. Otherwise, all the participants will be given an attendance certificate, independently from results.

  • National legislation actuation elements related to SA8000 requirements

Minimum requirements for candidates

  • Secondary school diploma
  • Attendance and certificate of basic course ISO 19011 e ISO 17021
  • Thorough knowledge of SA8000 regulation and SAI Guidance Document

The course is organized in collaboration with CISE (economic development and innovation center) and it is accredited by SAAS (Social Accountability Accreditation Service)
